WTA Tour

The WTA Tour, or Women’s Tennis Association Tour, is the premier professional tennis circuit for women, organized by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Established in 1973, it encompasses a series of tournaments held around the world, including Grand Slam events, WTA 1000, WTA 500, and WTA 250 categories, as well as the season-ending WTA Finals. The tour showcases the top female tennis players and contributes to their rankings based on performance in these competitions. The WTA Tour aims to promote women’s tennis, increase its visibility, and provide opportunities for female athletes to compete at high levels.
