Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing gloves and protective gear, engage in a contest of strength, speed, and agility by throwing punches at each other within a defined area known as a ring. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent’s body and head, or to win by knockout, where one fighter is unable to continue the match after being struck. Boxing matches are generally organized into rounds, and fighters are scored by judges based on the effectiveness of their punches, technique, and overall performance. The sport has established rules and regulations governing the techniques used, the duration of matches, and safety measures for the participants. Boxing is recognized both as a recreational activity and a professional sport, with various governing bodies overseeing competitions at different levels.
